The mission of Townsend Energy Advisors is to provide a select number of oil & gas companies with the opportunity to draw from the knowledge, expertise and industry acceptance of 25 year oil and gas A&D industry veteran, Kevin Townsend, for the business development arm of their company.

 

While our primary goal and responsibility will be sourcing new deals, our role with each company will extend far beyond. We work closely with the teams on all phases of the acquisition project from identification and sourcing through the evaluation, negotiation and closing.

 

Our clients primarily consist of select private equity

backed portfolio oil and gas companies with operational focus in various geographical areas where Townsend Energy Advisors has the strongest experience. Townsend Energy Advisors clients also includes oil and gas companies targeting mineral, royalty and overriding royalty interests and a non-operated working interest focused team.

 

Prior to forming Townsend Energy Advisors in 2016, Mr. Townsend spent the previous 21 years as the Vice President of Business Development with The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse.
